The internet infrastructure allowing my connectivity at the moment is LAN (local area network). LAN is a computer network that interconnects computers in a limited area such as a home, school, computer laboratory, or office building using network media. It was first created during the late 1970s and was uesd for high-speed links between several large central computers at one site. Unlike WAN (Wide Area Network), LAN has smaller geographic range, which means that it can only connect within a few killometers or even meters from its hot spot and it usually doesn't use telephone line connection to run data.
